Third Day – 20th October
conference about women who make the difference
Natália Pão Duro, recently elected president of the Federation of the Recreative Associations of Baixo Alentejo, Olga Mariano, the first president of the first association of gipsy women
and currently connected to the project “Letras Nómadas”, which helps gipsy students to go to the university;
Zélia Parreira, director of the public library, and Teresa Fialho, who worked in Angola as an engineer in a big building enterprise and is Sensei in karate.
All the students had the opportunity to ask questions to the orators, after they talked about their experiences as women and workers and their role in volunteering.
